I.                    Collection:

The Library has a collection of 22 000 books

It is subscribed to 40 databases containing 33000e-journals

It facilitates access to open-resources

It has an important collection of audio-video items

Student’s dissertations are digitised and accessible in full text via library’s OPAC

II.                  Access to documentation

- In situ consultation:

 Whoever wants to enter the Library shall present the Library user card, otherwise gets an authorization from the Library management.

- Borrowing:

Borrowing is done on an individual basis up on presentation of the user card.

- Take-away borrowing

1. Staff

- Teaching staff: A maximum of 6 books for 28 days renewable once.

- Other staff: A maximum of 2 books for 7 days renewable once.

2. Students

A maximum of 2 books for 7 days renewable once.

- Reserving a book and other items:

Items, which are on loan to other borrowers, may be reserved in advance by request at the circulation service. The prospective borrower will be notified as soon as the item is returned. Books on the open shelf cannot be reserved.

- Renewing books:

A Library document can be renewed for further loan periods provided it has not been requested by another reader. Every material must be renewed before the loan period expires

III. Security System

The staff in charge of the access to the rooms are entitled, if they deem it necessary, to check the content of the users’ bags, briefcases or big files.
